General Home Inspection
My home inspection service is a concentrated effort to gather and provide information about the condition of a dwelling. It is also designed to point out any visible safety concerns. My service is a visual inspection of the dwelling and can only provide conditions of the systems and components as they were on the day of the inspection. I am a home inspection generalist and many times I will refer you to a specialist to review and repair a noted problem.
My inspection service will include an average of 3 to 4 hours on site to inspect and gather information. I highly recommend that you be present during the inspection so I can explain things as we go. My service will include a written report which will include narrative comments . There will also be pictures provided within the report to help illustrate some things.
If you are present, we can discuss the issues that were found before we depart the site on the day of the inspection. I will then take the photos and information gathered back to my office to write the report. The report I produce will be constructed and delivered promptly. In most cases later that evening but rarely longer than 24 hours. The report will be clearly descriptive and easy to understand. The report can be delivered in a number of ways including Email (pdf), on a CD or hardcopy printout through the mail or hand delivered.
When you hire me to inspect a dwelling for you, the service will include inspection of the following:
